The Source Savanna-la-Mar in partnership with the Y’s Menettes of Westmoreland hosted their annual summer youth camps (Junior and Senior). These camps served and benefited the youth from the challenged communities of Russia, Grotto, Seaton Crescent, and Gully Banks/Barracks Road.
Activities included: Arts and crafts, dance lessons (Auntie Jackie and Legend Squad), basic computer classes, HIV prevention with Grassroots Soccer, life skills activities, special guest speakers from the Ministry of Health, HEART NTA, and JMBIC, sports day, and a talent show.
Big ups to our volunteers and donators who made it all possible. Without their selfless, generous support, we would not be able to host these camps. Thank you!
